Im 11, but im from 2012, not 2013 because my birthday is in December, so im from the end of Gen Z, i didn't born in Gen Alpha, and im really disturbed what Gen Alpha kids future will have, kids now only live with this not funny TikTok brainrots like Skibidi Toilet or ElsaGate, when i was little, i was watching CreepyPasta videos on mom's phone, later i got my own phone so i started watching more things like Roblox UA-camrs or FNAF videos, my favorite show back then was My Little Pony, i was loving it at the age of 3-10 when i turned 11 (my current age) i stopped being childlish and i made my own UA-cam account, grown up from My Little Pony, started make Gacha Memes and learned drawning 100%. i hope that someday Gen Alpha kids will stop watching this things and started watching Gen Z's childhood videos

I'm too old to have been a part of this, but it is fascinating to learn about. What is perhaps most interesting is that older generations grew up with ACTUAL trauma that they experienced, and not cartoons. The world wars had a profound impact on generations of men, which was felt in their families which would cover a few generations after those wars ended. Abuse was far worse in all regards. Neglect is surprisingly the same, except now it takes the form of people spending their time interacting with technology instead of other people. That latter bit we will touch on later. However, what should be noted is the effect of cartoon characters, typically some sort of anthropomorphized animal, and how that has effected subsequent generations. Something like "bronies" or "furries" are far more common than zoophilia (and unlike it a new phenomena), and it is clear that this kind of media has had some sort of influence on sexual development. I remember Dan from Gamegrumps making a joke about the character Gadget from the show Rescue Rangers from previous generations, and the Lola bunny character from Space Jam as examples of where cartoon characters were sexualized and much of this started. I would be curious to learn about what media influenced generations after this point and developed this further. You also mention "inflation fetishes" which seems to be a brand new phenomena. If the video you talked about was some sort of subtle influence, the only connection between the inflation and sexuality would be through the most extreme form of sadism; where one derives sexual pleasure from killing others. I've also learned about "vore" which seems to be used for sexual gratification... this is clearly involving cannibalism as a part of a sexual fetish, and is quite disturbing to become somewhat widespread instead of a statistical anomaly. Much of this seems to be combining sexuality and violence which can have profound effects on someone if viewed at a young enough age. Leading back around to interacting more with technology than people, this has had a profound effect on humanity. Studies indicate that with each passing generation they have less and less empathy, which is necessary for society to function (we are sadly in the collapse phase of the mouse utopia). As babies, our eyes naturally follow movement. We require spending a great deal of time looking at and interacting with human faces to develop empathy. Think of so called "feral children" who were raised by animals; a female human who was raised by wolves and behaved as one could identify subtle features in the faces of wolves that the rest of us cannot. There is a critical period of development that is being missed; parents looking at devices and having their children do so as well closes the window on developing some aspects of empathy. The difference between generations is children went out to play and interact with other children; I wonder what the effect of the quarantine combined with such devices will have on the generation that lines up with this critical stage of development. It is possible this could also be related in the rise of autism, as it is often characterized by deficits in reciprocal social communication and the presence of restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior. The content ITSELF is designed to keep people clicking and playing, so restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior are LEARNED. This is perhaps a variable which is not being considered. So what does it do to a person to have more "interaction" with and learn more from anthropomorphized, cartoon animals than humans? What about sexual development involving the same, due to the steady decrease in sexual activity of younger generations meaning far LESS human interaction? Typically being exposed to sexuality at a young age in any form tends to lead to some sort of paraphilia. Sadly you see this too often in sexual abuse of children, who go on as adults to have an abnormal paraphilia towards children and carry on the cycle of abuse. But paraphilia can involve anything from balloons to bridges... I wish to understand the mechanism that correlates certain stimuli with sexual gratification.

shout out to "rise and shine" which had Twilight sacrificing her friends for magic, and then a very gruesome god version of Celestia just like... being there. That was disturbing very badly for me as teen to discover that. I remember the music was kinda cool, I liked the dark but necessary feel of Rainbow Factory but the books were just... too much. Shit gave me nightmares for weeks. Also when you started playing that part of rainbow factory... I got chills on my spine. People say Stockholm was bad, but compared to the explicit details on some of these videos and books... kinda pales in comparison. I remember accidentally stumbling on Awakened when I was about 15 and legitimately throwing up and getting sick from the level of brutal kills and torture in that book. Teen me just didn't understand when to stop and put the book down and walk away. My experience with the fandom was a lot... worse than most people, I was by my own stupidity and teenage hormones, preyed on by a lot of adult men for some bad stuff and I learned a very hard lesson as a 15 Y/O when the consequences caught up to me. I think that's finally when it clicked in my head for me that this place was insanely dangerous for kids and teens. I genuinely hate this fandom despite being a part of it because I saw first hand how many lives it has ruined and continues to ruin to this day. Dont get me wrong, the mountain of amazing and wholesome content made by the community shouldn't be forgotten... but it pales in comparison to just how absolutely horrible the darker side of the fanbase was.

As a 9 yr old and about to turn 10.. sometimes I watch skibidi toilet but not get insanely addicted to it like other kids.. and I also get to hang out my family and more.. but to be honest. Copy cats and skibidi toilet has to be deleted to my opinion for harming kid’s knowledge.. what happened to beating kids and not watching them enough?
